Our Margaux 2023 is from one of the great Margaux Chateau’s and at a fraction of the price of their Chateau label. It has been blended to be drunk younger than the Grand Vin and is already gorgeous... with a good 7-10 years of wonderful drinking ahead of it. Whilst we can’t divulge the name of the Chateau, we can tell you that it is a stone’s throw from Chateau Margaux & Palmer in the heart of the appellation and is from one of the top ’super second’ classified growths. Its pedigree is superb and it is available for immediate delivery. The wine is rich and concentrated with juicy red fruit flavours with silky tannins - and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc and as Jonathan Ray wrote in the Spectator: "The 2023 Margaux, with fragrant notes of azaleas rung dry after the rain, is serious fare.
