Chateau Cissac, Haut-Medoc 1998

The 1998 Château Cissac is an excellent vintage claret, known for its ability to age well. This wine has a deep color and strong legs, indicating its quality. It has a rich and aromatic nose with... plenty of cherry fruit and a hint of maraschino cherry at the end. The tannins have softened over time, making the wine smooth and well-balanced. It is enjoyable now and will continue to improve with age.

Chateau de Ferrand Grand Cru Classe, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2022 12x75cl

Château de Ferrand is a superb St Emilion Grand Cru who have made a wonderful, great value 2022 - "Silky, soft, lush, and polished on the palate. Superb " Jeff Leve. Located at the highest point of... Saint-Emilion the " 2022 offers an incredibly pure, balanced, and structured style...the quality is there."Jeb Dunnuck Owned by the Bich family (of Bic pens fame) since 1978, however it is only relatively recently that the estate began to ramp things up. Since 2010 Pauline Bich Chandon-Moët and her husband Philippe have invested substantially to bring Château de Ferrand firmly into the 21st century, with important and design-led technical changes in the winery, environmental changes with organic practices being implemented in the vineyard (and also many architectural and artistic renovations). The 2022 vintage is the estate's second vintage in its three-year conversion to organic certification; they hope to be fully certified by 2024. In 2019 new cellars were opened along with renowned consultant Axel Marchal coming on board and following a study of the soils and subsoils, the entire vineyard has been restructured through a rigorous selection of grape varieties according to their ability to adapt to the terroir of each plot and this meticulous attention to detail shows! Château Ferrand 2022 ” has plenty of personality and balance, takes the imprint of the vintage but gives it a limestone twist, and will age extremely well”Jane Anson

Chateau Margaux Premier Cru Classe, Margaux 1990 150cl

Margaux 1990 speaks for itself. Extremely rare in magnum format with three 100 point reviews from very well respected critics. “It offers an extraordinary aromatic display of spring flowers,... camphor, sweet red and black fruits, a hint of liquorice…Round and generous … fresh with laser-like precision, this stunning wine is just beginning to reach its plateau of full maturity, where it should remain for another three decades. A sensational effort, it is one of the legendary wines made at Chateau Margaux”. 100 points Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, June 2009 “The 1990 Château Margaux is really beginning to hit its stride at age 31, … Full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, it's seamless and complete, … This is an especially dramatic, fleshy rendition of Margaux, yet it remains impeccably balanced and has decades of longevity ahead of it”. 100 points William Kelley, Wine Advocate, February 2022 The 1990 Chateau Margaux has turned into a sensational wine that eclipses both the 1988 and 1989...and then some… it is the kind of nose in which you just immerse yourself… The palate is soft and sensual with incredible depth… I feel that this 1990 Château Margaux is at its peak ... Magnificent”. 100 points Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, October 2016

Dom Perignon, P2 Rose 1995

Dom Pérignon Rosé is already an exceptionally rare Champagne, and the P2 release takes it to another level entirely. Having been allowed to mature for more than 15 years in the cellars before... release, Dom Pérignon P2 Rosé 1995 has developed a depth and complexity that simply cannot be achieved through youth alone. This is Champagne that has moved beyond primary fruit, gaining layers of savoury complexity, spice and texture while retaining the energy and freshness that define a great vintage. The 1995 vintage is a particularly compelling expression of Dom Pérignon Rosé, combining the richness and concentration of the year with the refinement that comes from extended ageing. Expect bright red fruit, dried rose petals, spice and smoky mineral notes alongside a creamy texture and chalky precision. There is an almost Burgundian quality to its breadth and savoury complexity, yet it retains the energy, freshness and elegance that only great Champagne can provide. For collectors and Champagne enthusiasts, Dom Pérignon P2 Rosé 1995 offers a rare opportunity to experience one of the world's most prestigious Rosé Champagnes at a remarkable stage of its evolution a profound and complex expression of a great vintage.

Dom Perignon, P3 1990

Dom Pérignon P3 1990 When the ‘P’ in P3 stands for Plénitude, translating to ‘completeness’ or ‘abundance’, you can assume Dom Pérignon has left nothing on the table when creating its... ultimate expression. The 1990 has spent a minimum of 25 years ageing on its lees and was not released until 2019. With fewer than 20 P3 vintages ever created, and only in years when the Cellar Master believes the wine is capable of reaching this level of evolution, Dom Pérignon P3 1990 is an exceptionally rare Champagne. The 1990 vintage is particularly special, coming from one of Champagne's great years and now offering an extraordinary combination of maturity, concentration and freshness. Expect layers of ripe yellow fruit, dried white flowers, honeycomb and brioche, with extended lees ageing bringing incredible texture, depth and complexity. This is Champagne at its most profound: powerful without being heavy, complex without losing precision, and with a finish that seems to go on indefinitely. James Suckling awarded the standard Dom Pérignon 1990 99 points, so you might say the 100-point scale isn't even enough to do Dom Pérignon P3 1990 justice. For collectors, this is a rare opportunity to experience Dom Pérignon at the very furthest point of its evolution - a truly transcendent Champagne and the pinnacle of the house's craftsmanship.

Errazuriz, Las Pizarras Chardonnay, Aconcagua 2021 6x75cl

Las Pizarras 2021: “The 2021 Las Pizarras Chardonnay is stunning... an austere profile, elegant, vibrant, mineral and pure, extremely clean, chiseled and symmetric, with an effervescent palate and... the intensely mineral and salty character that defines the best vintage of this wine... This is a wine with full development of aromas and flavors, subtly nuanced (marzipan, pear, white flowers) with very integrated oak and stunning precision, finishing very dry. Delicate and elegant. It's among the finest vintages, with less power than 2015, vertical and with good structure, more Chablis than Meursault. Superb! 8,900 bottles were filled in June 2022.” 97+ Points, Luis Gutierrez, Wine Advocate

Graham Beck, Brut, Western Cape NV

An excellent South African sparkling wine from remowned wine-maker Grakham Beck, affectionately known as the ‘President’s Choice’ because it was served at both Nelson Mandela’s and Barack... Obama’s inaugurations. Made with the Méthode Cap Classique (identical to the traditional method used to make Champagne) and a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Great value for all of us who love the taste of Champagne – but not the price. Fresh but creamy. Full of lime and citrus flavours – it’s got a lovely brioche richness from its second fermentation in the bottle.

Margaux 2023

Our Margaux 2023 is from one of the great Margaux Chateau’s and at a fraction of the price of their Chateau label. It has been blended to be drunk younger than the Grand Vin and is already gorgeous... with a good 7-10 years of wonderful drinking ahead of it. Whilst we can’t divulge the name of the Chateau, we can tell you that it is a stone’s throw from Chateau Margaux & Palmer in the heart of the appellation and is from one of the top ’super second’ classified growths. Its pedigree is superb and it is available for immediate delivery. The wine is rich and concentrated with juicy red fruit flavours with silky tannins - and a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Cabernet Franc and as Jonathan Ray wrote in the Spectator: "The 2023 Margaux, with fragrant notes of azaleas rung dry after the rain, is serious fare. Early hints of redcurrants give way to blackcurrants and blackberries, all soft, juicy and smooth. This is a class act and can only get classier as it matures.” Jonathan Ray.

Samuel Billaud, Petit Chablis 2024

Samuel Billaud Petit Chablis 2024 is an outstanding example of Petit Chablis from one of the region’s most highly regarded producers. Domaine Samuel Billaud has rapidly established itself among the... top names in Chablis, producing wines known for their precision, minerality and purity of fruit. The 2024 vintage is an excellent year in Chablis for quality, although quantities are significantly reduced, making allocations particularly tight. This Petit Chablis is sourced from vineyards situated on the upper plateau above Chablis, close to the Grand Cru hillside and overlooking some of the appellation’s most famous vineyards. The proximity to the Grand Cru terroir is reflected in the wine’s precision and mineral character, giving a style far beyond what is normally expected from Petit Chablis. The cooler elevated sites help preserve freshness and acidity, while the Kimmeridgian influence in the soils contributes to the distinctive saline and chalky profile associated with the best wines of Chablis. Tasting notes Samuel Billaud Petit Chablis 2024 shows aromas of citrus, green apple and white flowers, with notes of oyster shell and wet stone. On the palate the wine is bright and focused, with crisp acidity supporting pure citrus fruit and a pronounced mineral edge. There is impressive tension and energy throughout, leading to a long, clean and saline finish. A remarkably precise Petit Chablis that reflects both the quality of the 2024 vintage and the rise of Samuel Billaud as one of Chablis’ leading producers, offering notable freshness and minerality with strong typicity.
