The label suggests a focus on terroir-driven wines, which are typically expressive of the vineyard from which they originate. Hermitage La Chapelle: This is a label from Paul Jaboulet Aîné, a significant producer in the Rhône region of France. La Chapelle is a highly esteemed wine made from Syrah grapes in the Hermitage appellation. Château Beaumont: A wine estate located in the Haut-Médoc appellation of the Bordeaux region. It produces red wines known for their balanced character and potential for aging. Tignanello: Represented by the Antinori family's crest, Tignanello is a famed Italian wine from Tuscany. It's considered one of the first Super Tuscans, wines made with non-traditional grape varieties or methods outside the local DOC regulations. Calon-Ségur: Located in Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux, Château Calon-Ségur is known for its heart-shaped label and quality red wines that are structured and capable of long aging. The collection of these labels suggests a cellar plan that is diverse, with a focus on both French and international wines known for their potential to age and appreciate in value. Our Cellar Plans are an excellent opportunity to build your cellar, over time with wines that tailored to you coupled with our expertise. When you join, you will be assigned a personal Account Manager to guide you in building your cellar that you will cherish for years to come. You decide how much to pay monthly from £100 or more, through a simple direct debit. Included with your personalised cellar plan you will also enjoy a wealth of benefits including priority access to sought-after wines, access to your personal online portal, tastings, and special events.

Tailoring Your Cellar Plan To You

Drinking Cellar

For those of you who wants to enjoy drinking all your wines in the future, invest in future quality drinking from £100 per month. Your specific plan will be built on what you decide with your account manager as with all our plans you decide your amount of control you have over the plan and with your guidance you can leave the rest to us. We will need to know the wines and regions you prefer.

Investment Cellar

This is purely for investment with one goal to buy wines that are expected to increase in value over the medium term – 5 years and then sell and take the profit should you so wish. Investment grade wines perform well – the average increase in the Liv-ex fine wine index over the last 20 years has been 15% per annum. One additional advantage is currently in the UK, wine gains are tax free as wine is classed as a wasting asset. We are not tax advisers so advise you to take you own tax advice. By creating an investment cellar plan take advantage of priority allocation of some of the world’s most sought after wines, including the top Bordeaux classified growths and Burgundy Grand Cru’s.

Mixed Cellar

By purchasing quality wines with investment potential your cellar is working for you, you can build your dream cellar while subsidizing or fully covering your future drinking costs by selling those that achieve significant gains. As the wines mature, you can benefit from those that dramatically increase in value. On request Noble Rot will list and sell wines on your behalf on the largest global fine wine platform, Liv-Ex, where we hold a premium membership. You choose a percentage weighting – say 40% drinking and 60% investment.
