Cairanne is one of the Southern Rhône’s rising stars, nestled among some of the region’s most celebrated villages. Sharing its sun-drenched terroir with nearby Rasteau, Gigondas, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cairanne offers exceptional value for lovers of classic Grenache-led blends.
Les Travées from Alain Jaume highlights the appellation’s potential, with grapes grown on limestone-rich slopes at elevations up to 350 metres. This higher altitude adds freshness and structure to the wine, while the Mediterranean climate ensures full ripeness and depth of flavour.
In the glass, it presents a deep garnet-red colour with expressive aromas of fresh red and black fruits. The palate is rich and fleshy, supported by well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and textured, showing classic notes of spice, menthol, and dark chocolate that echo the warmth and complexity of its RhĂ´ne Valley roots.
Fermented and aged in concrete vats for 12 to 14 months, this vintage retains purity and precision. Drink now or cellar for up to six years.
