Château Pontet-Canet is one of the leading estates of Pauillac and was classified as a Fifth Growth in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Under the ownership of the Tesseron family, the château has gained a reputation for producing wines of remarkable depth and precision, with vineyards farmed entirely under biodynamic practices.
The estate lies on the gravel terraces of Pauillac, where deep GĂĽnzian gravel soils provide excellent drainage and are ideally suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon alongside Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.
The 2022 vintage in Pauillac delivered wines of impressive concentration balanced by freshness and structure. At Pontet-Canet the result is a powerful yet refined wine that reflects both the strength of the vintage and the precision of the estate’s biodynamic vineyard management.

This 300cl double magnum offers exceptional potential for long term cellaring. The great wines of Pauillac are renowned for developing complexity and finesse with time, and in large formats the wine matures more slowly, preserving freshness while extending the wine’s longevity.
