For our drinking wine selection, we offer UK mainland delivery of £15 inc. VAT. For the Highlands and Islands of Scotland (*) we offer £30 inc. VAT per delivery up to 4 cases, and £40 inc. VAT per delivery for 5+ cases.

Chateau Grand Mayne Grand Cru Classe, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 2020
Château Grand Mayne 2020 is a Grand Cru Classé estate in Saint Emilion, set on the limestone slopes and clay plateau to the north of the village. The vineyard is planted predominantly with Merlot... alongside Cabernet Franc, producing wines that combine richness with structure and aromatic lift.
The 2020 vintage is a strong Right Bank year, delivering wines with both concentration and balance. At Grand Mayne this results in a wine that shows depth and polish, with ripe fruit supported by freshness and well integrated oak.
Tasting notes
Château Grand Mayne 2020 shows aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry, with notes of spice, cedar and a touch of cocoa.
On the palate the wine is full and rounded, with ripe dark fruit supported by fine tannins. There is a sense of both richness and control, leading to a long and refined finish with a subtle mineral edge.

Love this wine, with its punchy stamp of St Estèphe, with powerful black fruits and fresh acidities, both enticing and appealing while extremely unfussy. The tannins are serious and a little chunky, but have plenty of character and there is appealing gunsmoke and salinity on the finish. 3.69ph, 45% new oak.
