Zuccardi Regiones Cabernet Franc 2024
Familia Zuccardi Regiones Cabernet Franc 2024, Paraje Altamira, Mendoza
Familia Zuccardi Regiones Cabernet Franc 2024 is one of the most exciting Cabernet Francs to emerge from Argentina and a wine... that is helping redefine the country's reputation beyond Malbec. Produced from high altitude vineyards in Paraje Altamira in the Uco Valley, at over 1,000 metres above sea level, it combines the generosity of Argentine fruit with the freshness and precision that have made Cabernet Franc one of the country's fastest growing success stories.
Recently featured by wine writer Victoria Moore in The Telegraph, the wine was described simply as "fantastic", with particular praise for its balance, freshness and drinkability. In a feature titled "The Argentinian red that everyone's talking about – and it isn't Malbec", Zuccardi Regiones was highlighted as a standout example of why Cabernet Franc is rapidly becoming one of Argentina's most sought after grape varieties.
The wine is fermented using native yeasts and aged in concrete and large oak foudres, preserving purity of fruit while adding texture and complexity. The limestone rich soils of Paraje Altamira bring a distinctive mineral character and freshness that sets the wine apart from many richer New World reds.

"Thrillingly fresh cherry and blueberry fruit garnished with a delectable mountain herb fragrance which undulates over the nervy seam of acidity and sublime harmony of tannins. A joy to savour, only improving sip by sip."
