Errazuriz, Las Pizarras Chardonnay, Aconcagua 2021 6x75cl
Las Pizarras 2021: “The 2021 Las Pizarras Chardonnay is stunning... an austere profile, elegant, vibrant, mineral and pure, extremely clean, chiseled and symmetric, with an effervescent palate and... the intensely mineral and salty character that defines the best vintage of this wine... This is a wine with full development of aromas and flavors, subtly nuanced (marzipan, pear, white flowers) with very integrated oak and stunning precision, finishing very dry. Delicate and elegant. It's among the finest vintages, with less power than 2015, vertical and with good structure, more Chablis than Meursault. Superb! 8,900 bottles were filled in June 2022.”

Errazuriz, Vinedo Chadwick, Maipo Valley 2021 3x75cl
Viñedo Chadwick 2021 is one of the leading Cabernet Sauvignon wines of Chile and a benchmark expression of the Maipo Valley. Produced by Viñedo Chadwick, the wine comes from a small vineyard... planted on the former polo field of the Chadwick family in Puente Alto, at the foothills of the Andes.
The estate was developed by Eduardo Chadwick of Viña Errázuriz, with the ambition of producing a world class Cabernet Sauvignon that could stand alongside the great wines of Bordeaux and California. The project gained international recognition following the Berlin Tasting in 2004, where Viñedo Chadwick ranked ahead of several First Growth Bordeaux in a blind tasting judged by European critics.
The vineyard lies in the Alto Maipo, an area widely regarded as the finest source of Cabernet Sauvignon in Chile. Gravel soils, warm days and cool Andean nights allow the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining freshness and structure.
Viñedo Chadwick 2021 wine details
The 2021 vintage in Maipo Valley produced wines of excellent balance and purity. Viñedo Chadwick 2021 is made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, with small amounts of Petit Verdot often included depending on the vintage.

Jean-Jacques Girard, Aloxe-Corton, Rouge 2021
This Aloxe Corton Rouge 2021 comes from a compact 0.25 hectare holding split between two well positioned parcels on the hill of Corton. One lies in Les Combes, immediately below the Charlemagne Grand... Cru, with the second in Les Paulands, just beneath the Bressandes Premier Cru. The vines average around thirty years of age and are rooted in iron rich soils that naturally lend depth, structure and generosity to the finished wine.
The nose is expressive and layered, opening with strawberry, raspberry and red cherry, complemented by darker mulberry fruit and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate the wine is ample and assured, with rounded, velvety tannins that coat the mouth yet remain finely balanced by freshness and clarity of fruit. Vinified and matured in oak for approximately fifteen months, the oak is well judged, adding gentle toasted notes without obscuring purity. A refined yet generous Aloxe Corton, offering immediate charm while comfortably ageing from 2026 through to 2036.

On the palate the wine is vibrant yet textured, with bright acidity supporting concentrated fruit and a pronounced mineral edge. There is both richness and tension, leading to a long, chalky and saline finish with hints of orange zest and grapefruit bitterness.

Produced from younger vines and selected parcels within the estate, it... offers a more approachable expression of this renowned terroir while retaining the character and structure of the grand vin.
The vineyards are planted on gravel and clay soils typical of Saint Estèphe, well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. These soils contribute to the wine’s depth and structure, while the proximity to the Gironde estuary helps to moderate temperatures and support even ripening.
The 2021 vintage is a more classical Bordeaux year, favouring balance, freshness and precision over concentration. Le Marquis de Calon Ségur 2021 reflects this style, offering a refined and well balanced claret that is accessible earlier than the grand vin while still showing clear Saint Estèphe character.
Tasting notes
Le Marquis de Calon Ségur 2021 shows aromas of red and dark berry fruit, with notes of cassis, plum and a touch of spice.
On the palate the wine is medium bodied and structured, with fresh fruit supported by fine tannins and lively acidity. The finish is balanced and precise, with subtle hints of cedar and graphite.
